COVID-19 UDPATE

COVID-19 Video Update

The health and wellbeing of our patients and staff is of utmost importance at Whittier Family Dental Center. We have implemented COVID-19 precautions as recommended and required by the Los Angeles County Department of Health (LACDPH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and American Dental Association (ADA).

Whittier Family Dental Center is operating with the following advanced infection control practices in place:

  • All patients must call the office at (562) 789-8515 upon arrival, and wait in their car. We will text or call you when we are ready to call you in to the office.

  • We will complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire on the phone and advise you to enter the office.

  • All patients must wear proper facial masks that cover both the mouth and nose before entering the office.

  • Only one patient will be allowed in the office at a time, with only one accompanying person for children and those with special needs. All other accompanying personnel should wait in the car.

  • Upon entering the office, your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to sanitize your hands and perform an oral rinse with an antibacterial solution.

  • Please maintain physical distance (six feet distance) from all staff members whenever possible.

  • We are sanitizing all spaces with disinfectant between patients. The circulating air in the office is being filtered and UV-C light sanitation is utilized throughout the office. We have also added an extraoral suction unit to reduce aerosols generated during your treatment.

  • All Whittier Family Dental Center clinicians and staff have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We urge you and your family to protect yourselves and others by getting vaccinated.

For the protection of all patients and staff, we are asking that you cancel and reschedule your dental appointment if you have any illness or are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, including:
